We are exclusively recruiting for this long-standing team who are looking for an experienced, confident Senior Administrator to work in a busy environment. You'll be adding to a successful team who have a passion for dogs, a gorgeous Labrador and Springer, who like to visit the office throughout the day!

Job Title: Senior Administrator

Location: Maidstone

Salary: £25k-£30k Depending on experience

Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00 to 17:45 with an hour lunch

The role:

To provide administrative support to the Practice Support Manager to ensure that the Partner's relationships between their clients can be optimised and assist with the daily operation of the office.

As the Senior Administrator your key responsibilities would be:

  • Assist in the management of the operational needs of the practice, ensuring the effective administration of back-office functions.

  • Provide a high level of technical and administrative support

  • Obtain quotations from product providers and provide illustrations and product information to the Partner as required.

  • Prepare files including compliance required documentation; research; illustrations; supporting documentation, prior to sale.

  • Ensure that files are complete post-sale with all required client identification documentation and necessary application forms.

  • Process applications accurately and record the required management information.

  • Progress applications with product providers, advisers, clients, and other third parties to ensure that each case completes in a timely manner.

  • Maintain accurate client information, files/records, ensuring that clients are placed into a review system as agreed with the Partner.

  • Prepare portfolio valuations as requested.

  • Provide administration support to the Partner/Practice Support Manager as required, e.g. marketing correspondence;

  • Support the day-to-day business operations within the Practice.

  • Project a professional image in both appearance and attitude and provide quality support on time to agreed standards.

  • Attend and contribute to regular update meetings with the Partner/Practice Support Manager.

  • Maintain technical competence at an appropriate level to meet the requirements of the role.

  • Maintain a good working relationship with colleagues, clients and third parties.

We'd love to speak to candidates with the following skills:

  • Previous experience in a Financial Services office support role with a focus on pensions, both DC and DB with protection and mortgage experience being advantageous.

  • Knowledge of relevant regulation and legislation.

  • Experience of client management systems.

  • Excellent face-to-face and telephone client interaction skills and ability to build rapport swiftly.

  • Excellent written communication skills.

  • Broad experience of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel);

  • Good organisation skills.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Manages time effectively with the ability to multi-task.

  • Keeps calm when faced with conflicting demands and handles these effectively.

  • Always demonstrates a positive attitude.

  • Works well on own tasks as well as on shared goals as part of a team.

  • Open to change with a creative approach to problem solving.

  • Progress with Financial Services exams having attained CF1, LP2 and preferably R01 with progress towards Diploma.
