(£32,418 - £33,510) Full time - 35 hours per week



Senior Administrator required to work for a successful Children's Centre in North Lambeth. The Centre acts as support centre offering a range of services for families in the area.


We need someone who is highly organised, has excellent interpersonal skills, flexible and pays attention to detail. This role is to support our team who are passionate about the role of Children's Centres in improving the lives of children and tackling inequality and disadvantage. The successful candidate will be provided with training as required for the role.


Some of the duties involved:



  • To ensure the smooth running of administrative functions including leading and managing data management, communication mechanisms and health & safety requirements

  • To be responsible for the development and operation of administrative and management systems and procedures

  • To be responsible for ordering resources, processing invoices, managing petty cash and recording information in line with systems

  • Produce timely and accurate statistical information and reports

  • Lead on marketing and promotion of services, including maintaining social media and website forums

  • Preparing induction for staff, agency staff and work experience students

  • Responsible for ICT, telephone and copying machines putting in place systems to ensure they are maintained and functioning effectively


About you:



  • Sound knowledge and understanding of word, Excel, Power Point, Database reporting systems, email and internet

  • Knowledge of relevant legal frameworks such as GDPR and how to apply this in systems

  • Knowledge of health & Safety legislation, safeguarding requirements and compliance

  • Experience of implementing administrative processes

  • Strong computer database proficiency including data management and report writing

  • People focused, team focused

  • Excellent communications skills
