Are you an experienced Administrator looking for a new challenge within the Financial Services industry? Our client, a thriving financial firm based in Colchester, is seeking a talented Senior Administrator to join their team.


As a Senior Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the Financial Advisor and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office. With your attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:



  • Supporting the Financial Advisor in the day-to-day running of the office

  • Taking action on provider/client queries, particularly relating to new business submissions

  • Addressing and actioning provider alerts and secure messages

  • Contacting clients to arrange annual review meetings

  • Preparing client annual review meeting packs

  • Maintaining back office systems and ensuring all information is correct

  • Acting as the office point of contact while the Advisor is away in meetings

  • Processing new business submissions and following up on outstanding documents

  • Liaising with clients regarding existing business queries, direct debit cancellations, outstanding documentation, and protection applications

  • Managing the deceased client process and change of address process

  • Processing client disinvestment requests

  • Handling incoming post and sending policy documents and information to clients

  • Taking responsibility for all policies going live

  • Returning client phone messages within service level agreements

  • Writing suitability letters

  • Attending training at the Chelmsford office when required


To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a similar administrative position. You should be able to work well alone and be highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be in regular contact with both clients and providers.
