Office Angels Newcastle have a fantastic opportunity to join our very successful client on a Permanent basis.


They are looking to recruit an experienced candidate to support their Managing Director, alongside ensuring the smooth running of the HR function within their business.


Based in the Tyne Valley area the role is required due to a period of Maternity leave, however it is likely a Permanent contract will be offered from the beginning of employment due to the success of the business.


Experience within an Administration role is required and some HR experience would be beneficial, however this isn't essential to the role as it is more important for you to have a strong work ethic, a confident and personable nature and the ability to work within a fast-paced environment successfully.

Duties will include but are not limited to



  • Diary management and correspondence

  • Data collation / reports

  • Ad hoc bookings for meetings, travel arrangements, hotels etc



  • Enhancing the culture by authentically contributing to its provision of support

  • Joining the Wellbeing team within the business

  • A key point of contact for your colleagues questions, requests and concerns

  • Coordinating recruitment; Processing incoming CV's and applications; Coordinating interviews; Ensuring completion of interview rating cards; Producing offer letters, Service Agreements and related joining documentation; Collating documentation, ID and conducting relevant checks; Coordinating the set-up of new starter inductions; PPE, desk and IT provision

  • Working closely with the appointed recruitment agencies

  • Coordinating Contractor arrangements and set-up, in line with IR35 compliance due diligence protocol

  • Coordinating annual PDP's

  • Monthly payroll reports to Finance

  • Monthly HR activity stats to Managing Director

  • Coordinating employee probation process

  • Conducting Right to Work checks

  • Coordinating Exit Interviews

  • Coordinating Student Placements: Working with universities; Students and Mentors

  • Coordinating engagement at Careers Fairs and events

  • Primary contact for Externship Programme and related events/requests

  • Coordinating training and primary contact for membership with North East England Chamber of Commerce

  • Producing Employee letters, agreements and documentation

  • Working closely with the business appointed HR lawyers and other advisors to ensure best practice and legal obligations are met

  • Updating of company documentation such as: Company Handbook; Service Agreements; Company Policies

  • Providing references for employees and leavers in accordance with company policy


This is a full-time position, working Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week and our client offers some brilliant benefits including free-parking, an attractive pension and holiday package and free lunch every day!


Due to the location of the client, it's essential you have your own transport if you do not live locally to the Tyne Valley area.
