HOURS: 09.00am-17.30pm

SALARY: £28,000


LOCATION: Birmingham City Centre

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO



  • Acting as the first point of contact for the Accounts Payable department and team.

  • Preparing supplier payments.

  • Dealing with supplier queries and reconciling supplier statements.

  • Collating preparing finance reports.

  • Oversee the maintenance of supplier records.

  • Ensure that all invoice queries are actioned within 24 hours.

  • Assist the Purchase Ledger Manager with overdue payments.

  • Reconcile supplier statements.

  • Prepare supplier invoice payments.

  • Analyse payments.

  • Support advise and guide junior members of the team.



SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED



  • Experience in a purchase ledger role.

  • Experience supervising a team.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Strong communicator.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experienced user of MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
