Job Title: Secretary / Audio Typist


Location: Whitfield, near Dover


Salary: £22,000 - £24,000


Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm with 1 hour for lunch

Your key responsibilities would be to:



  • Assist the Fee Earner in every way to operate to maximum efficiency.

  • Dealing directly with clients and colleagues.

  • Using Word processing and audio-typing to prepare correspondence and documents.

  • Draft formal documents.

  • Accurately file, store, and retrieve client files.

  • Attend the clients both face to face and over the phone.

  • Take and accurately record messages.

  • Occasionally cover the reception area and meet and greet visitors efficiently and effectively.

  • Sort post and deliveries.

  • Coordinator outgoing post for mailing.

  • Arrange meetings and maintain up to date diaries.


Skills and experience required:



  • Previous experience working as an Audio Typist or Secretary.

  • Excellent Word processing and audio skills.

  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills

  • Good time keeping

  • Great organisation skills & multi-tasking
