Office Angels currently have a fantastic fixed term opportunity, for an experienced Business Support Administrator, to join a dedicated team of staff at a local primary academy, who are committed to providing the best possible education for their pupils.


The desired candidate will have previous experience of working within Administration and will ideally hold an NVQ Level 3, or above, in Business Administration. Previous experience of working within a school/education is not essential but would be beneficial.


Start date will ideally be ASAP, therefore a short-notice period is highly beneficial.


This is an amazing, fixed term opportunity to join a local school based in Middlesbrough, in a busy and extremely rewarding role.



  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Contract length: Fixed term until August 2023

  • Monday - Friday, 8AM - 4PM

  • Salary: £20,575.71 - £21,835

  • This role is not term time only, as you will be required to work 5 weeks out of the 13 weeks in total of the school holidays.


Key Responsibilities:















� Deal with routine and complex reception/visitor matters
� Contribute to the planning, development and organisation of support services systems/procedures/policies
� Organise academy trips/events etc.
� Supervise, train and develop staff as appropriate



� Manage manual and computerised record/information systems
� Analyse and evaluate data/information and produce reports/information/data as required
� Undertake typing, word-processing and complex IT based tasks
� Provide personal, administrative and organisational support to other staff
� Provide administrative and organisational support to the Local Academy Committee
� Undertake administration of complex procedures
� Complete and submit complex forms, returns etc. including those to outside agencies e.g. DfE



� Operate relevant equipment/complex ICT packages



  • Undertake the administration of payroll systems


� Monitor and manage stock within an agreed budget, cataloguing resources and undertaking audits as required
� Manage uniform/snack/other 'shops' within the academy
� Provide advice and guidance to staff, pupils and others
� Undertake research and obtain information to inform decisions
� Assist with procurement and sponsorship
� Assist with marketing and promotion of the academy
� Manage administration of facilities including use of academy premises
� Undertake complex financial administration procedures
� Assist with planning, monitoring and evaluation of budget
