Scheduler / Administrator

Based in Leyland, my client, an national service company with a exceptional reputation within their field, are looking for a dynamic, efficient and customer focused scheduler to assist their busy team on a temporary basis.



Duties will include but not be limited to;



  • Schedule jobs for operatives, ensuring a qualified operative is allocated to every repairs or inspection appointment made with a resident, client or customer

  • Undertake follow up work, ensuring satisfactory conclusion to the appointments

  • Make calls to customers to discuss and resolve repairs issues, escalating issues to supervisors as and when required

  • Undertake operative admin tasks including scheduling follow on appointments, ordering parts etc.

  • Updating the database to ensure all queries and resolutions are logged


Skills Required:



  • Exceptional Customer Service experience, ideally within a demanding environment

  • Experience of working within repairs and maintenance either within Housing, Local Government or contractors

  • Excellent telephone communications and influencing skills

  • Ability to work from home environment

  • A good attitude and willingness to learn

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and challenging atmosphere



Hours: Monday - Friday - 08:30 - 17:00

This is a temporary position which is expected to continue for approximately 3 months however there could be further opportunities throughout the business for the right candidate.
