Business Development Executive - Telesales

A long standing Distributor are looking to recruit a Telesales Business Development Executive to join their team at their Hull office. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm. This role is currently a non client facing role due to the current client visiting restrictions and therefore the role is currently a contract until the situation changes ( Approx end of 2020 ) However there would be opportunities to move across to a field sales role for anyone with the right experience.

As a dynamic Internal Sales Executive, you will be responsible for the processing of incoming sales enquiries, raising quotations, providing documentation and following quotations through to orders.

To be considered for this Business Development Executive - Telesales role we would prefer you to have:

  • Experience with selling Industrial Automation and Control products

  • Experience within Distribution or Wholesale environment

  • Experience within developing new business and growing existing clients

  • Cold calling experience

  • Ability to maintain a high call rate guaranteeing achievement of sales targets and securing new business.

  • Experience of providing clients with quotations and follow up protocols

  • Call prospective clients, introducing the company and product offerings

  • Work proactively to keep a busy sales pipeline

  • Liaise with the management team, ensuring profit is maximised within the territory

  • Gather leads for new business

  • Update CRM system, keeping an active pipeline of sales

  • Provide quotations and follow these up in line with company procedures
