Salary: £37,000 - £45,000 depending on experience (£12,000 yearly bonus)


Days/ Hours of work: Monday - Friday; 08:30 - 17:00

The company


My client is a busy exhibitions and events company who have been established since 2009. They work with a diverse range of companies, from global large-scale contractors to niche technology providers. The company hold events locally and internationally and are looking for someone to help grow the business through managing an expanding sales team while also working towards individual sales targets. This is an 80% management and development role and a 20% individual sales position.


Duties



  • Plan and deliver regular training and coaching to ensure the team operating efficiently and effectively

  • Motivate the team to achieve and exceed KIP's and sales

  • Work with the Sales Director to identify additional company needs and hire your own team

  • Conduct regular 1-to-1 with each member of the team

  • Preforming consistence reviews to ensure team members are meeting expectations

  • Design campaign plans to ensure all opportunities are taken advantage of

  • Collate and presented weekly, monthly and years sales figures to management and the Board of Directors

  • Work with Key accounts to build strong relationships and maximise opportunities

  • Set team and individual targets

  • Identify new lead sources and work with marketing to generate in-bound flows

  • Liaise with the conference production team to ensure that your delegate team is fully briefed on each event and kept up to date with the programme

  • Manage a defined number of key accounts on each campaign, demonstrating sales leadership and best-practice


The ideal candidate



  • Team Management experience within a telesales environment or will have worked in sales for 4+ years and are looking to take that next step

  • You'll be excited to work for a growth-stage business

  • Experience providing training

  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal

  • Exceptional relationship building skills

  • Professional telephone manner

  • You'll enjoy working with a smart team in a fast-paced environment

  • You'll have a willingness to travel and attend conferences, social events and other meetings
