Office Angels are currently recruiting for a Sales Order Processor, to join our client who is based close to Follingsby Park in Gateshead, on a permanent contract basis.


Due to business expansion the company now have an opportunity for a Sales Order processor to join their busy and successful team. Working under the supervision of the Customer Service Director and working as part of a close knit team you will help play a key role in supporting the business operations.

  • Location: Follingsby Park, Gateshead

  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 4:30PM, with a 30 minute lunch break

  • Salary: Up to £22K depending on experience

  • Contract: Permanent


This role is ideally to start immediately, however a notice period can be considered for the right candidate.


Role responsibilities:



  • Sales order processing of customer orders

  • Batching jobs, processing jobs and taking calls from customers

  • To develop daily production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met

  • To work closely with the Supply Chain to ensure that the materials needed for jobs are in process to minimise delays

  • All general administration tasks


Skills & Experience:



  • Experience of sales order processing is highly advantageous, but not essential

  • Previous administration experience is essential, ideally within a fast paced environment.

  • Experience of working in manufacturing beneficial but not essential

  • The successful candidate will be highly detailed in approach, able to anticipate issues and problem solve, and have excellent organisational skills

  • Good people and verbal and written communication skills and a genuine customer service focus

  • IT literate
