Job Title: Sales & Marketing Manager - Events industry

Location: Rye

Culture: Expanding International company, based in stunning oak beamed offices with modern décor and a friendly, driven, successful team

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. This position is office based.

Benefits: 20 days annual leave + bank holidays, increasing by 1 day each year

This brilliant position is an ideal opportunity for a self-motivated, energetic sales professional to help drive more sales and marketing campaigns for this business to achieve their ambitious sales targets over the next 3 years and beyond.

The company are seeking a Sales & Marketing Manager who is:

  • Highly committed and passionate about sales and marketing in the events industry

  • Driven to deliver sales and marketing KPIs

  • Passionate and experienced in digital marketing to create social media campaigns including adverts, blogs, vlogs etc.

  • Proactive to generate a sales process to include emails campaigns and advertising

  • A positive change agent, able to perform in a highly challenging and ever-changing environment

  • Data driven, in an environment where performance and processes are KPI driven

  • Happy to pick up the phone or take part in video calls to build relationships with potential clients

  • Able to research in response to a brief, write proposals and create and deliver presentations in person or via video calls

Experience required:

  • Experience within marketing and selling in the events industry is essential, preferably within an agency

  • Experienced in using CRM to manage and forecast sales opportunities

  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and patterns

  • Experienced with creating and running marketing campaigns

  • Experienced in Digital marketing and managing social media campaigns is essential

  • Strong communication skills

  • Proficient in using MS Office package
