We are working with a leading manufacturer based in Sheffield who are seeking an experienced Sales Office Manager to join their team. With an office in a fantastic location for commuting (close to the M1) and brilliant perks this role is not to be missed.
Role: Sales Office Manager
Location: Sheffield, close to great motorway links
Salary & Benefits: Up to £45,000pa + company car, company bonus, 23 days holiday (plus bank holidays) increasing with service, 2:15pm finish on a Friday, free parking and more
Contract: Permanent
Duties:
- Managing the sales department responsible for processing of estimates, quotations and sales order often involving customer drawings
- Responsible for 1-2 sales colleagues
- New business development with existing, potential and dormant customers
- Visit customers on site to develop relationships and increase sales
- Maintain and increase sales working to pre-agreed budgets
- Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing and technical support
- Close liaison with the Operations Manager and colleagues in production and CAD departments
- Prepare monthly sales reports
What you will need to succeed:
- Prior experience working within a technical sales or manufacturing environment would be an advantage
- Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with customers are suppliers face to face and via phone
- Proven experience within a sales / sales management role
- Strong IT skills
