Our client is looking for a confident, focused and targets driven Sales Manager to join their team to manage, train and motivate a team of 8 Sales Openers.

JOB TITLE: Sales Manager


HOURS: 09.00am-18.00pm


START: ASAP - Willing to wait notice period


SALARY: £40,000-£50,000* + 10% Bonus *Depending on experience


LOCATION: City of London (By the Gherkin)

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:



  • Day to day management of lead handling telesales team

  • Drive team to overachieve targets

  • Work with other sales managers across the business to create exceptional processes

  • Training and development for sales team

  • Monitor and improve team call data (number of calls, talk time, outputs of calls)

  • Quality control

  • Sales script creation and improvements

  • Own team targets and create new incentives to drive performance

  • Gamification to encourage competition

  • Recruitment


SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:



  • The ideal candidate will have managed a successful sales team for a small - medium sized business

  • A candidate who has managed for 2-6 years maximum

  • Ideally a candidate who has call centre experience and has managed/ operated a similar dialer.

  • Has the ability to conduct training for new and existing team members

  • Experience implementing new processes

  • A candidate who is efficient with data and reporting

  • Strong level of education

  • A candidate who is good at and enjoys people management

  • Commercially minded and focused

  • Has the ability to motivate and steer the team to overachieve on targets

  • The ability to deliver training and script improvements

  • Managing team incentives

  • Strong communication and relationship building skills

  • Be able to handle objections and push backs from the team

  • Able to go above and beyond and willingness to step outside direct workload and job spec
