Hybrid role - mix of office based & remote home based working
Based in Feltham

Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity working for a leading international provider of bespoke furniture? The company exports half its sales to over 50 countries each year and has gained an excellent reputation in the markets served. This established and successful company is developing rapidly in the EU market and now has the opportunity for an experienced Sales & Logistics Administrator to join the company on a permanent basis. There are 2 office locations, based in Germany and the UK, the role will be based at the UK office and there will be an option to travel for training purposes to Germany on at least one occasion.

The company are looking for a Sales & Logistics Administrator for our Germany Subsidiary.

Job Purpose:

Germany Subsidiary To be a member of a sales support team responsible for liaising with our customers and internal staff to ensure our customers' requirements are met in terms of specification and time scales.

Job Specification:

* Sales.
* Supporting and liaising with the Sales Team in Germany for quotations and sales orders.
* Providing quotations, processing orders, raising sales invoices and credit notes through our (ERP) computer system.
* Expediting goods through various freight companies and providing appropriate documentation, including liaison with Sales Team regarding suitable collection times.
* Liaising with customers as necessary on prices, delivery schedules and amendments.
* To cover in sales office (Export & UK), filing and various ad hoc duties if & when necessary.
* To actively support at all times, company policy and best practice in the area of security with particular emphasis on the protection on sensitive customer and company information.
* Adhere to all internal processes and procedures for the department.
* To work closely with all internal departments in order to build and retain effective long-term relationships.
* Ad hoc duties to cover the smooth flow of the German subsidiary.
* Logistics.
* Liaise with customers expected delivery times.
* Liaise with production and despatch regarding loading of orders.
* Calculate packing space and costs for export delivery.
* Liaise with freight forwarders/customers, book containers & trailers as appropriate.
* Follow up trailer and container arrival if required.
* Issue clearance/customs/despatch documents as required.

Job Description:

* Understanding of and ability to complete all necessary documentation for export of goods worldwide, including Certificates of Origin, EUR1, invoices, packing list.
* Good knowledge of the geography of Germany.
* High level of numerical ability.
* Fully computer literate.
* Structured, methodical, analytical and well organised.
* High attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
* Fluent in German written & spoken.
* Fluent in English written & spoken Criteria -Desirable.
* Negotiation skills.
* Knowledge of procedures for payment by Bank Collection and Documentary Credit.
* Knowledge of UK & EU Transport & Logistic Laws Person Specification.

About You:

* The job requires someone who has excellent customer service skills and telephone manner.
* Great communication skills.
* Very pro-active.
* At least intermediate level computer literacy in the windows environment and MS Office.
* It is essential you have customer service experience and/or previous sales office experience.

Benefits:

* 23 days holiday per year (3 of which you are expected to use over the Christmas break as the company closes down) Hours are Mon-Thurs 9-5.30, Fri 9-4.30, 1 hour for lunch.
