Hours: 9am - 5pm Mon to Fri

Based on the outskirts of Skipton (complete with its own wandering peacock) our client is looking for someone who can jump in and get involved with this bubbly and down to earth team. Whether this is managing your own client base, generating new business opportunities and creating new sales techniques or joining their colleagues at local pub or having a catch up on "Sandwich Friday" this company will welcome you and your ideas - especially if it is biscuit related, they have a very sweet tooth!

Duties:



  • Working from and managing the client database on a daily basis to seek out new opportunities, with the aim of generating interest and setting up appointments

  • Actively engaging with potential clients, using a variety of sales methods and materials made available to them

  • Keeping up to date with new sales techniques, growing networks and devising prospect lists

  • Is confident, persuasive, tenacious and isn't afraid to pick up the phone and speak with key decision makers

  • Maintains records of client contact, follow ups, referrals and appointments made

  • Overall responsibility for the growth of the client database by generating new business leads.

  • Manage the company social media channels

  • Liaise with and support the Project Management team with their own prospecting and referral activities to ensure there is no cross-over

  • Devise and complete compelling, written proposals

  • Where required, present solutions and a summary of proposals to senior stakeholders and board members in a face to face or webinar environment.

  • Liaises with clients throughout the decision making process, from initial contact through to potential agreement, before handing over to the Project Manager.

  • Conducts regular reviews with potential clients to ensure regular contact is maintained at all times and further assistance provided in order to aid the decision making process.



Experience:



  • Proven experience in a professional sales environment with a solid background in both telesales and field sales environments, as well as new business development

  • Experience of meeting and exceeding targets

  • Proven experience of account management would be advantageous but is not essential

  • Experience of working with senior stakeholders and is confident at presenting at board level.

  • Ability to communicate on a professional level with clients, internal teams and senior stakeholders.

  • Is honest, ambitious, creative, passionate and driven to succeed for themselves and the wider team.

  • Has a strong understanding of Microsoft Office, Apple Mac applications and social media channels

  • Possesses excellent people skills, has the ability to build strong relationships and is able to influence key decision makers'

  • Is willing to adhere to the company Code of Conduct and other policies.



The location would suit applicants who live in Keighley, Skipton, Ilkley, Blackburn, Harrogate, Burnley and surrounding areas.
