Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm


My client is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join their growing sales team. The company, and in particular the section of the business they are recruiting for is growing and offers the right candidate opportunities for career progression.


Job Overview:


Sales-based role where you will be responsible for looking after key accounts in a defined area, dealing with new enquires, providing quotations and following up new business. The role will involve some travel from the office to a customer's address (may involve overnight stays from time to time).


Tasks include:



  • Research sales opportunities using our subscription services for new construction projects.

  • Liaising with our marketing team for creating targeted campaigns

  • Managing existing clients

  • Contacting new clients and generating sales leads.

  • Liaising with sales and marketing team to create sales campaigns, manage the sales process through to orders and instructions for the installation team.

  • Provide technical support for our remote monitoring service and be able to configure a device according to specification.

  • Provide customers with IT like support via telephone & email for our products and cloud services.

  • Discuss project requirements with customers through telephone, MS Teams, in-person meetings and delivery training and presentations.

  • Open to attend exhibitions, networking meeting and conferences from time to time.

  • Liaise with the technical site installation team, internal calibration team and commercial team to deliver a timely service to meet a customer's objective.

  • Self-manage your day and workload according to urgency of work.

  • Set up web-based monitors and set controls in a web platform according to the customer's requirements.



The applicant should have:



  • Experience and a track record of working in a B2B sales environment.

  • Be a good negotiator.

  • Be willing, resilient and diligent.

  • A systematic, methodical, and organised approach to tasks is an advantage.

  • Preferably experience in using CRM and other sales and marketing software.

  • Excellent communication skills & experience of meeting customers face to face.

  • Basic Microsoft Excel/ Office experience.

  • Clean driving licence.

  • Be familiar with tender/proposal/technical documents.

  • Be able to demonstrate your ability to specify the correct product solution according to the document requirements.

  • Demonstrate an ability to be a good problem solver and resolve queries quickly.

  • Demonstrate through your experience your ability to understand a technical product and present this to a customer in a non-technical manner.

  • Be competent with new technologies, computers and mobile devices.
