Location: Southampton


Working Hours: 8:30 - 5:00, Monday to Thursday & 8:30 - 4:00 on a Friday

An exciting opportunity has emerged to join the Sales Team at our leading client based locally in Southampton as a Sales Coordinator. The Sales Coordinator will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating all stages of sales and order processing. This position requires a candidate with previous administration experience, who can demonstrate excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment within the marine safety industry.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Handle sales and technical enquiries from the international customer base through telephone and email.

  • Generate and process sales orders in response to customer enquiries.

  • Develop an understanding of products to assist customers and provide recommendations.

  • Ensure orders have accurate delivery notes and invoices.

  • Process sales order paperwork and reporting on the in-house system.

  • Implement price changes and update key accounts.

  • Provide support for service and hire enquiries.

  • Respond quickly to price enquiries and quote requests.

  • Follow up on quotes to maintain competitive pricing.

  • Support with reception when required.


Requirements:



  • Excellent customer service and administration skills.

  • Experience of processing orders and producing sales quotes.

  • Can excel in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong team player.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
