Sales Administrator

Witham, Essex

£25,000 - £27,000 per annum

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

My client, a well-respected technology business located in Witham is currently seeking a Senior Sales Administrator to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Director of Sales Operations

  • Process customer sales orders from order entry through to delivery

  • Provide customers with order updates and tracking/shipping information

  • Create customs documents for orders shipping outside of the UK

  • Track outbound shipments through to point of delivery

  • Monitor and maintain open task list on CRM system

  • Assist with project management and delivery schedules for key accounts

  • Assist with maintaining customer installation schedule and arranging customer site access

  • Process vendor purchase orders from order entry through to receipt of goods

  • Proactively liaise with vendors to ensure delivery deadlines are met

  • Check vendor invoices and enter them onto the accounts system

  • Create new part numbers and assist with maintaining part number integrity on accounts system

  • Assist with maintain vendor pricing and landed costs on accounts system

  • Assist with maintaining and distributing customer price lists

  • Check and process import customs entries and associated duty & VAT invoices

  • Provide high level administrative support to the sales team

  • Proactively qualify enquiries from new and existing customers

  • Provide quotations to new and existing customers in a timely manner

  • Assist with monthly and annual stock takes

  • Assist with database integrity

  • Answer incoming phone calls and greet visitors on arrival and assist with customer visits

  • Provide holiday cover to Sales Ops team members, as required
