Sales Administrator
£20,000 per annum
Monday-Friday, 35 hours
Witham, Essex


My client, a successful technology business located in Witham is currently seeking a Sales Operations Administrator to join their growing team.


Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Provide a high level of administrative support to the sales team

  • Provide quotations to new and existing customers in a timely manner

  • Proactively manage quote conversion process

  • Provide freight quotes and product landed costs to sales team, on request

  • Process customer sales orders from order entry through to delivery

  • Book freight collections and prepare shipping paperwork, including export documentation

  • Provide customers with order updates and tracking/shipping information

  • Track all outbound shipments through to point of delivery

  • Maintain ship logs on a daily basis and check associated freight invoices

  • Process vendor purchase orders from order entry through to receipt of goods

  • Check vendor invoices, as required

  • Create new part numbers and assist with maintaining part number integrity on the system

  • Check and process customs entries and import duty & VAT invoices, as required

  • Provide proforma invoice report to senior management on a weekly basis

  • Maintain hardcopy filing systems on a weekly basis: completed sales orders and completed purchase orders

  • Maintain PDF filing systems on the server on a weekly basis

  • Assist with database integrity

  • Assist with archiving of hardcopy paperwork

  • Maintain appropriate levels of stationery and office supplies

  • Answer incoming phone calls

  • Greet visitors on arrival and assist with customer visits
