My client, a well-established supplier based on the outskirts of Brentwood, is looking for a driven Sales Administrator to join their friendly and growing team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody looking for their first office-based role or for someone wishing to further develop their existing experience.


Duties:



  • Creating and processing orders

  • Creating quotations and chasing when required

  • Checking stock levels and ordering stock where necessary

  • Carrying out credit checks

  • Booking transport for deliveries

  • Maintaining constant communication with the warehouse and suppliers

  • Managing the inbox and monitoring emails regarding orders

  • Account management, building and maintaining relationships with customers

  • Updating customers on any discrepancies with orders

  • Performing end of month reports

  • Chasing payments and dealing with payment term extensions

  • Invoicing clients & passing invoices for payment

  • Updating pricing

  • Dealing with payment term extensions


The ideal candidate:



  • Good IT knowledge

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to build relationships
