Sales Administrator
£25,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience
Braintree, Essex
Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm


My client, a friendly and stable business based in Braintree are currently seeking a Sales Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a great team who could offer a long-term, rewarding career.


The role will be working alongside all aspects of the business by assisting the relevant departments as they need. This will include exposure to sales, customer service, shipping, accounting and technical functions.


Responsibilities & Duties:



  • Processing orders

  • Checking, querying & inputting of supplier invoices on to system for payment

  • Manage the documentation of incoming stock with service providers

  • Ensure that stock rotation is correctly managed

  • Landing stock on the bespoke computer system

  • Invoicing customer orders & liaising with hauliers regarding deliveries

  • Working with the sales team to keep customers appraised of any delays with orders

  • Advise buyers/planners of low stock levels on product lines


Preferred Skillset:



  • Attention to detail is absolute key to this role

  • Confidence in dealing with colleagues, customers & suppliers

  • Competent with Microsoft Office

  • An attitude to muck in during busy times
