Basildon, Essex
Monday - Friday, alternating between 8am-4pm and 9am-5pm

Our client, a small, family run construction-based business is seeking an Administrator to join their friendly team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants the ability to build and develop their career.

Your day to day responsibilities will involve, but will not be limited to:

  • Receiving orders for construction materials

  • Reviewing stock levels and reordering stock as required.

  • Inputting orders on QuickBooks

  • Quoting prices for products using information on QuickBooks

  • Sending order acknowledgements to clients, confirming costs and delivery dates

  • Chasing suppliers for stock delivery as necessary

  • Arranging the shipping of products to the client who may be based around the UK or Ireland.

  • Dealing with customer enquiries regarding orders

  • Raising invoices for products supplied

  • Chasing for payment

There are opportunities for progression within this role, with the view of this person progressing into the Office Manager role within a couple of years.
