Office Angels are looking for an Experienced Research Manager to join an independent body based in the heart of Canary Wharf. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a great organisation who has a fun and friendly team culture.


The Research Manager will assist the company in establishing an in-house research programme on their applicants. This will be linked to a new initiative to gather EDI information.


Canary Wharf | Mon - Fri, 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm | £21.36ph + OA benefits! | Home & Office Based | ASAP start | 3 months temp, with the potential to be extended


Key duties



  • Establish an in-house research programme on our customers (including EDI details) to assess whether we are reaching everyone who needs to use our service and that all our customers are receiving a similar standard of service.

  • Contribute to the creation of a new online form to gather EDI information on our applicants and be GDPR compliant.

  • Creating a process to allow all applicant data to be easily interpreted, reported on, trends analysed and recommendations identified where appropriate.

  • Coaching and training key staff on data analysis, and making any related recommendations on how the research programme is supported in the long-term.

  • Working flexibly across the organisation as necessary and any other duties that may reasonably be required.


Person Specification



  • Substantial research experience using a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies.

  • Experience of collecting and analysing EDI data, ideally in a public sector organisation.



  • Setting up information gathering initiatives through to go live.

  • Using research and data to improve service delivery.



  • Good organisational skills - able to plan, prioritise and balance work demands and manage time.

  • Able to focus on outcomes with good analytical, problem solving skills.



  • Ability to work effectively both as an individual and part of a wider team.

  • Flexible, adaptable, able to deal with uncertainty and change.

  • A high degree of proficiency in the use of MS Office and other IT systems related to the role.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to both understand and translate complex issues to key stakeholders and staff. Including effective report writing that includes complex statistical information.


Desirable



  • Experience of research in a casework operation.

  • Financial services knowledge.

  • Microsoft Dynamics.
