The person



  • Ideally some form of phone or face to face based sales experience (for example have you worked in Customer Service and had to upsell a product?)

  • Do you have a get up and go attitude, are you a problem solver who always sees the glass as half full?

  • Are you a strong communicator? (both verbal and written)

  • Do you have impeccable spelling and grammar (this is essential)

  • Are you familiar with areas South of the River?

  • Do you have access to a car/ driving licence? This is important as you will be required to visit your clients!


The role



  • Managing a number of existing clients who already work with OA with the main focus of expanding our portfolio of clients through sales and marketing campaigns, calls, meetings (Teams & in-person) and even getting out and about in your local area!

  • You will work very closely with our Principal Consultant who looks after all permanent roles within those areas

  • Registering and interviewing temporary candidates who are match for the roles we regularly fill (Admin/PA/HR/Finance)

  • Providing a specialist consultative service by developing a thorough understanding of your Town/City (covering Gateshead, Sunderland, South Tyneside, Durham

  • Delivering a high level of customer service to all clients, candidates, and colleagues

  • Develop a good understanding of companies, their industry, what they do and their work culture and environment

  • Advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a wide range of media

  • Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and creating a shortlist of candidates for the client

  • Preparing CV's and correspondence to forward to clients in respect of suitable applicants

  • Offering advice to both clients and candidates on pay rates, training, and career progression
