Office Angels are currently recruiting for a People Administrator, to join our client who is based close to Wessington Way in Sunderland.


This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, yet very busy internal Recruitment team, who are going through an exciting time of growth and expansion.



The role can be considered on a temporary to permanent, or straight permanent basis, however this is an urgent recruit, therefore we are looking to engage with candidates who are available immediately, or who have short-notice period.



  • Full-time hours, Monday - Friday, 9AM - 5PM

  • Pay rate: £9.75 - £10 depending on experience

  • Location: Wessington Way, Sunderland

  • Temporary to Permanent/Permanent

  • Immediate start


The Role:


The role of People Administrator will play a critical role in providing exceptional and professional support to the full team, with a focus on supporting the Recruitment Team.


You will be responsible for:



  • Posting job adverts on various job boards

  • Arranging interviews

  • Issuing offer letters and contracts to successful candidates

  • Carrying out reference and DBS checks for new starters

  • Ensure data is processed and maintained in accordance with Information Governance guidelines.

  • Management and distribution of first line queries from Recruitment Inbox, enquiries and workflows

  • All general administration tasks

Previous experience of working in HR and/or Recruitment is not essential, however Administration experience is.
