Receptionist/Post Room Administrator



5 days office based

Global design and manufacturing business based near Aldgate East is looking to recruit an experienced Receptionist/Post Room Administrator to join their team immediately!

You will be the first point of contact for the business and be responsible for ensuring post is sent and handled in the most professional manner, whilst also doing the occasional switchboard and room booking.

You can really make this role your own and the position will suit a self-starter who is confident to work independently.

Duties included:

  • Dealing with all incoming email and post and distribute or direct accordingly

  • Manage and book couriers and receive incoming deliveries and distribute accordingly

  • Meeting and greeting all customers and visitors

  • Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests and handling them when appropriate

  • Answering the main switchboard directing all incoming calls and enquiries

  • Manage meeting room bookings

  • Assisting the Office Manager and Senior Management with additional administrative tasks

About you:

  • Previous experience of overseeing and managing a high volume of post

  • Previous Reception/Front-of-house experience or hospitality experience

  • Proactive, ability to multitask in a highly pressurised environment

  • Great organisation skills

  • Passion for providing 5* customer service

  • Desire to have a long-term career in Front of House Reception role

  • Available to start a new role by the 29th November
