Our client is offering a generous salary and an incredible benefits package for a confident, enthusiastic, and hardworking candidate to join their team as Office Assistant/Receptionist. The successful candidate will sit with the main receptionist.

JOB TITLE: Junior Office Assistant (ASAP Start!)

COMPANY: Legal Services

HOURS: 09.00am-17.30pm

START: ASAP Start - Cannot wait notice period

SALARY: £20,000-£23,000* Depending on experience

LOCATION: Walking distance from Bank station.

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office

  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and meeting room

  • Answer, screen, and fowling incoming phone calls & prepare and send invoices

  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email

  • Ensure the reception area, meeting rooms, and office space stay in pristine condition

  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail/deliveries, log received documents

  • Monitor and maintain office equipment, order office stationery

  • Update calendars, schedule meetings and organise catering as necessary

  • Manage the notaries' diary and CRM, arrange couriers and outgoing post

  • Assist the Office and Operations Manager as required

  • Covering reception duties whenever the main receptionist is away from the desk

  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as scanning, filing, and photocopying


  • A cheerful and bright individual with accurate attention to detail

  • Excellent telephone manner, logical and comprehensive

  • Strong organisation skills with IT competence as the Office diary is managed electronically

  • A flexible attitude to work

  • The ability to work effectively and efficiently within a small company

  • Capable at building successful and long-standing relationships with the whole team, in particular the receptionist

  • Ideally some experience of reception work
