Receptionist/Front of House Assistant

Office Angels are delighted to be working alongside our reputable client who are a leader within their industry to support them in the recruit of a Receptionist/Front of House Assistant based within their Killingworth office.

Duties within the role:

  • Receive incoming calls, transfer or take messages in a polite/professional manner

  • Greet visitors and notify relevant staff if necessary

  • Keep a log/register of staff/visitors for Track and Trace

  • Organise the booking of meeting rooms, manage the reception and meeting room areas

  • Prepare/clear meeting rooms prior to and following meetings (clean & sanitise)

  • Order catering for meetings if necessary

  • Ensure there are sufficient paper towels, face masks, sanitizer & hand soap within office/toilets

  • Keep the staff kitchen clean daily, put dishwasher on and clear away when the cycle has finished

  • Keep coffee machines fully stocked, empty drip trays, clean machines at the end of each day

  • Organise and book taxis or other travel bookings and approve related taxi invoices

  • Scan and distribute the post received

  • Send parcels or mail via Royal Mail online. Track parcels if necessary

  • Update internal office seating plans, and telephone lists etc.

  • Order parts or repairs for coffee machines, printers etc.

  • Order toners and ink for print room

  • Order stationery, paper, pens, etc. for the office

  • Order the weekly ASDA shop and unpack it on arrival

  • Offsite file storage record keeping and retrieval by use of Box-it and ORMS

  • Managing the safekeeping/records of appointment and other legal documentation

  • Collate data for Carbon Management Plan, e.g. business car mileage

  • Work as a team to provide cover during holidays (possibility of additional hours) or other absences and during periods of exceptional workload as required.

  • You will also be required to perform such additional duties as your employer reasonably requests of you

Salary: £17,000 - £19,000 dependant on experience

Hours of work: 36.5 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:30pm and 8:30am - 1pm Fridays - great early finish on a Friday!
