Tunbridge Wells, centrally located.

Office Hours: 9-5.30pm, reception cover 8-6pm, so flexibility required on an ad hoc basis.

Are you looking for a busy reception based role and happy to meet and greet as well as work and completed administration and postal tasks within a team environment?

Working within a large company, you will form part of the Front Office team and manage the day to day running of the busy reception service.

Main Duties

Greet and help clients and visitors to the office

Answer internal and external telephone calls using the designated switchboard, routing calls appropriately and efficiently.

Take and pass on messages accurately.

Book conference rooms, arranging refreshments as necessary.

Set up and take down meeting rooms.

Keep the waiting room and concierge areas neat and tidy.

General clerical duties.

Prepare and keep records accurately.

Record information accurately, whether manually or using a keyboard.

Sort and file information accurately so that it can be easily retrieved whether from paper files or from computers.

Specialist Skills Required

Ability or experience within operating a switchboard, or proven reception abilities are ideal.

You will have good organisational and communication skills and be confident, friendly and outgoing.

Numerate and literate. Good IT skills and aptitude. NVQ level 2 in Administration is desirable.
