JOB TITLE: Receptionist


LOCATION: Totnes


HOURS: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday


SALARY: Up to £20, 000 per annum DOE

THE ROLE: As the company receptionist you will be responsible for meeting and greeting all clients and answering all telephone calls. Whilst on reception you will also be responsible for some general office admin such as the post, ordering of stationery, scanning & photocopying and inputting of client information onto the system. For the right person, over time, the scope of this role will grow - as well as covering reception from time to time, you will also progress into primarily providing admin and secretarial support for the business.


YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:


Reception:



  • Providing reception cover - meeting and greeting clients, answering and redirecting calls and responding to any enquiries

  • Ensuring client records and files are up to date

  • Completing ID checks

  • Collecting, franking and delivering post

  • Ordering of stationery, office and kitchen supplies

  • Maintaining a tidy, functional and professional office and reception area

  • Disposing of confidential waste

  • Faxing, photocopying and scanning



Admin / Secretarial Support:



  • Provide secretarial support

  • Audiotyping of client notes

  • Preparation of documents

  • General admin support for the business



WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:



  • Previous experience in a reception, secretarial or admin position

  • Someone who is confident at managing multiple tasks at one time

  • Someone who can demonstrate a flexible and dynamic approach to work and who enjoys variety

  • A professional and polite telephone manner

  • Experience in providing excellent client or customer service

  • A team player

  • Strong computer skills
