A brand-new role has become available to join a current Front of House receptionist in a busy solicitor's firm in the heart of the city.


They are seeking a professional, well-spoken, and personable candidate to be the first point of contact for any guests and clients whilst undertaking various administration duties to support the office.

SALARY:
£22,000-£26,000 * Depending on experience

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:



  • First point of contact at reception to meet and greet guests/visitors

  • Opening the office, setting up for the day and preparing meeting rooms

  • Collecting the post, delivery to post office and managing deliveries

  • Answering telephone calls and passing on detailed messages where necessary

  • Arranging couriers and deliveries

  • Providing refreshments for guests

  • Maintaining office supplies and stationary

  • Arranging appointments and booking meeting rooms

  • Managing diaries to support directors and office admin staff

  • Preparing invoices and taking payments

  • Copy and audio typing

  • General ad hoc admin duties


SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:



  • Friendly, bubbly, and outgoing - personality is key!

  • Experience in a similar reception/admin position would be beneficial but not essential

  • Work experience or apprenticeship to understand knowledge in office environment would be ideal

  • Strong education levels

  • Professional appearance, well spoken and presented

  • Strong verbal and written skills, excellent communication abilities

  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation, time management and multitasking skills

  • Personable, outgoing and motivated personality

  • Happy to be the 'go to' person within the office and eager to learn
