Position: Receptionist

Salary: £19,500-£25,000 , dependant on experience


Location: Southampton


Hours: 37.5 hours a week


Role: This role will be suited to someone who has experience as a Receptionist or in Customer Service



The Opportunity


* To consistently provide clients with an excellent and professional service, via all channels of communication.
* To greet every client with a warm and friendly manner and to clearly communicate our services, processes, and procedures.
* To respond to telephone calls within a timely manner in line with business expectations and goals and consistently provide an excellent standard of service to all clients and colleagues.
* To ensure the reception area, desks, waiting rooms and meeting rooms are maintained to a good standard.
* To action all reception admin duties to a good standard.
* To take client payments by telephone and in person ensuring accuracy.
* To receive and check documentation and ID and ensure that information received is passed to the relevant person promptly.
* To receive and sort incoming post and DX post promptly.
* To maintain stationery stock for the office and place order requests as required.
* To observe confidentiality in all matters both internal and external and ensure compliance with GDPR.
* To carry out all employee Health & Safety responsibilities, including Fire Marshal & First Aid duties and any other H&S training and duties applicable to the role.
* To carry out other duties reasonably requested within the remit of the role by your line manager or Partners.
* To undertake all necessary training appropriate for the job role and assist in the training of others as and when required.



About you


* To possess a good working knowledge of the teams and legal services within the various departments to efficiently direct phone calls.
* To possess a good working knowledge of all reception / office processes and procedures and keep up to date with any changes.
* To have and maintain a good working knowledge of IT systems such as Excel, Outlook and the Case management system.
* To have and maintain up to date knowledge and training of health & safety matters.
* To have a flexible approach to work and drive own personal development.
* Professional image for customer facing role.
