The Perks:



  • Location: Gateshead, close to the Metro Centre, with free on-site parking!

  • Remuneration: £25,000 - £27,000 per year, depending on experience

  • Contract Details: Permanent, Full-Time

  • Working Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch, totalling 35 hours per week

  • Pension: Employer contribution of 5% of basic salary

  • Death in Service: 4 times the salary

  • Annual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays


💼 About the Role: Our client is seeking a dedicated Receptionist to join their team. As the first point of contact for clients, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a professional and welcoming environment in their modern office space.


Responsibilities:


📞 Handle switchboard duties, answer telephone calls, and respond to queries


👋 Greet visitors and ensure a warm welcome


☎️ Manage incoming calls and correspondence


🗓️ Schedule appointments and maintain calendars


📝 Assist with administrative tasks, including document preparation and data entry


⌨️ Type correspondence


🏢 Ensure the reception area remains tidy and professional at all times
