Job Title: Receptionist/Events Coordinator


Location: Central Reading


Salary: £27500


Hours: Full time - 9am - 6pm


My client a global commercial real estate company are looking for a Front of House Receptionist/Events Coordinator to join their team. The successful candidate will be managing the front desk of a beautiful modern multiple occupancy office building set in the heart of Reading. This building has amazing facilities and a contemporary feel. Not only will you be managing a busy reception desk you will be responsible for organising all events for the building from well-being through to quarterly landmark events.



Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:




  • Welcome all Occupiers & Guests in a friendly and professional manner

  • Act as the main point of contact for all event enquiries

  • Build strong relationships with Occupiers providing a 5 star service

  • Answer all calls (internal & External) record any messaged and transfer calls promptly

  • Deal with any queries from the Occupiers or Guests

  • Manage and maintain annual event budget

  • Be the primary contact for all event enquires

  • Plan, prepare and organise events

  • Take ownership of all events



Experience and skills required for this position:




  • Previous Reception, Events Management or Hospitality experience

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • IT literate

  • Able to work independently

  • Proactive with strong initiative
