Office Angels are currently recruiting for a Receptionist, to work for our client based in Edinburgh City Centre. Their working hours are Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm. The salary offered for this role is £22,000 - £24,000, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will possess reception and administration experience, as this is essential for this role.

Duties and Tasks

  • Operating a busy switchboard

  • Passing on telephone messages

  • Raising tenancy rent invoices

  • Updating monthly rent statements for tenancy managers

  • Managing all incoming/outgoing monies for petty cash

  • Quarter end petty cash journal

  • Organising the Royal Mail collection daily

  • Ordering stationery

  • Helping the outlets with Flow Training system

  • Dealing with all deliveries

  • Providing refreshments for meetings

  • Sending tenancies regular statements of account balance

  • Monthly Fair City Invoice

  • Organising any required maintenance around the office


  • Reception/admin experience is essential

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Multitasking and prioritising

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Attention to detail


  • 20 days plus public holidays per annum

  • Auto enrolled into the company pension after 3 months

  • City centre based, easy to get to
