JOB TITLE: Receptionist


COMPANY: Creative Studio


START DATE: Friday 3rd December


TERM: 3 months till 4th February


HOURS: 10.00am-15.00pm Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays (Office closure 25th December-3rd January - Reopening on 4th January)


SALARY: £12 per hour


LOCATION: Walking distance from London Bridge station.

Our client is based in a creative studio in London Bridge. They are a team of illustrators, photographers, architects, and graphic designers creating strong architectural visualisation.


As this role is client facing, excellent customer service and presentation is a must, as well as outstanding organisation and communication skills. This is a busy role so therefore the successful candidate will be naturally organised with strong time management skills.


DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:


GENERAL RECEPTION



  • Answering phone calls, transferring/announcing calls

  • Meeting and greeting clients in Reception

  • Maintaining a high standard of studio cleanliness - responsible for studio, kitchen, and sometimes other staff!

  • Book Reception cover for holidays and sickness; working alongside temps and sometimes solo where necessary

  • Post and packages

  • Ordering cabs and couriers

  • Ad-hoc errands

  • Fridge clear out

  • Ordering stationery, weekly food, and filtered water for office, and handling the Front of House budget filing

  • Staff expense processing

  • Reception duties and general assistance of other companies working within the office space

  • International and UK wide travel bookings; liaising with senior staff on flights, accommodation, and necessary visa requirements where appropriate


SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:



  • A proactive individual with excellent organisational skills

  • A confident and effective communicator with the ability to hit the ground running

  • Someone with a professional attitude and welcoming personality

  • The ability to communicate confidently and professionally with all visitors

  • A minimum of 6 months experience in a Receptionist role

  • Proficient knowledge or Google and Microsoft Office suites
