A highly prestigious client of ours are seeking a temporary Corporate Receptionist/ Office Administrator to join their team on an ongoing, temporary basis.


MUST be a fluent Mandarin speaker.



JOB ROLE: Corporate Receptionist- Mandarin speaking


COMPANY: Oil and Gas Brokerage


HOURS: Full time, Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm


SALARY: £13 to £15 per hour, based on experience


LOCATION: Covent Garden, London


CULTURE: Luxury / Corporate offices, working within a friendly busy environment

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:



  • Meeting and greeting visitors to the office in a professional manner

  • Translation of documents from Mandarin to English

  • Greeting VIP guests whose native language is Mandarin

  • Answering switchboard system and transferring calls in a confident manner

  • Managing the reception email inbox

  • Booking lunches

  • Arranging travel- including booking flights, hotels and taxis

  • Booking meeting rooms and organising refreshments

  • Liaising with staff in various departments - assisting with the Office Manager

  • Taking receipt of deliveries and arranging couriers

  • Liaising with service providers


SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:



  • Degree educated would be advantageous

  • Fluent in Mandarin

  • Highly organised and methodical nature

  • A team player

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

  • Experience of working in a client/customer facing role previously is desired

  • IT skills- efficient in Microsoft Office

  • Polite and courteous nature
