JOB TITLE: Receptionist / Admin Assistant


LOCATION: Taunton, Somerset (Office based)


SALARY: £20,000 - £23,000 PA DOE


HOURS: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5.00pm with an hour for lunch.

THE ROLE: As the front of house receptionist you will be the first point of contact for visitors to the office and be responsible for answering external calls to the office. You will need to have a warm and friendly approach to client care. In addition you will complete various administrative tasks in support of the team.


KEY DUTIES TO INCLUDE:



  • Welcoming visitors in a professional and friendly manner.

  • Answering and directing phone calls.

  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, scanning and distributing correspondence.

  • Carrying out opening and closing routines for the office.

  • General typing such as letters and invoices.

  • Monitoring office supplies and placing orders as needed.

  • Performing clerical duties such as filing; photocopying and scanning.

  • Diary management

  • Opening electronic client files and maintaining client data.

  • Data entry to accounting software.


THE CANDIDATE:



  • You will be a naturally friendly and approachable person, ideally with prior reception experience and strong organisational skills.

  • You will need to be computer literate and comfortable with MS Office - Outlook, Word and Excel.

  • You will need to have accurate typing skills, further training to develop these skills will be provided.
