Are you available immediately to start a new role? One of our long standing clients in the London Bridge area, are looking for a Reception and Facilities Assistant to join their team!

This is a busy, friendly company who need a helping hand across the organisation. Situated at front of house, the post-holder will be responsible for the day to day management of the building and related facilities whilst acting as the first point of contact for visitors.

Job Title: Reception and Facilities Assistant

Hourly Rate: £12ph

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 8:30am to 5pm, Full Time office based

  • Be responsible for inbound and outbound post and courier services, including for our tenants

  • Liaise with line manager/senior management to recommend, where necessary, the need for a contractor and to determine the nature of the specialist assistance required

  • Manage office changes such as installation of new desks, dividers, white boards etc

  • Manage meeting room bookings for both internal and external clients ensuring external clients are invoiced appropriately

  • Monitor and arrange maintenance visits from service providers and keep timetable

  • Liaise with relevant department heads to ensure access to for maintenance engineers

  • Be the first point of contact for any building related enquiries/issues/emergencies, including out of hours key holder

  • Ensuring invoicing of tenants is carried out on time

  • Setting up and clearing meeting rooms ensuring rooms and Member's area are fully stocked; organise lunch for meetings as required

  • Undertake other duties broadly similar to those in this job description guide as may be required from time to time

  • Reliable and organised with an excellent approach to timekeeping

  • Hands on approach and task oriented

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written

  • Sound judgement and the ability to think quickly and remain calm during emergencies

  • Excellent administrative and IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel

  • Proven experience in dealing with internal and external customers

  • Ability to multi-task and work independently
