ROLE: Reception & Admin Supervisor
WHERE: Canary Wharf
WHEN: Monday - Friday / 08:30 - 17:00 / Please note: This is NOT a hybrid job
SALARY: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum

DUTIES INCLUDE:



  • Manage and lead a small team and maintain suitable processes for the smooth running of activities

  • Managing the operation of the department with passion, integrity and knowledge while promoting the culture and values of the company

  • Liaising between administrative staff and senior management

  • Supervising the day-to-day operations of the administrative department and staff members

  • To be responsible for the delivery of high levels of guest care and service delivery

  • Recruitment and training of new administrative employees

  • Evaluating the administrative department regularly and implementing improvements

  • Performing inventory and ordering new office supplies

  • Delegating specific projects to administrative employees

  • Evaluating administrative staff on a monthly basis

  • Ensuring telephones, booking and computer systems are correctly operated

  • Ensuring that the team are trained and set for success and delivers high quality services to customers

  • Recruiting, training and developing staff to provide the department with an appropriately skilled and motivated workforce


REQUIREMENTS:



  • Proven experience within a similar role

  • Proven experience of managing a team

  • Friendly, approachable and welcoming

  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) and attention to detail

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Ability to take initiative and able to get things done efficiently and independently

  • Ability to balance multiple projects and prioritise tasks while remaining highly organised

  • Ability to plan for and keep track of multiple projects and deadlines
