JOB TITLE: Quality Manager


SALARY: £40,000 - £45,000


LOCATION: Bingley


HOURS: 35 hours per week Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm & Friday 9:00 - 3:15pm

Overview of the role: Leading a well establish team of 3 you will ensure all products and service are consistent. Reporting into the Sales Director. Ensuring the successful efficient quality and compliance controls not only exist but succeed in respect of legal, contractual, and regulatory obligations across the whole business, from sourcing, developing to marketing household consumer products.

Duties will include:



  • Liaise with key stakeholders to establish, implement, and control a broad range of procedures effecting quality management across the business.

  • Lead BRC company compliance and implement recommendations and/corrective actions

  • Ensure all products are fully QC tested before dispatch to customer and for compliance purposes.

  • Manage the full cycle of quality improvement surveys across the organisation - design, deliver, evaluate, and review

  • Handle customer complaints by conducting thorough investigations and root cause analysis.

  • To facilitate, co-ordinate and head up the annual BRC Audits and implement recommendations and/or corrective actions

  • Collaborate with sales and buying teams regarding product testing and new product development.

  • Proven experience within a Quality role

  • QA experience within a retail environment, preferably with experience of textile processes and BRC/ETI standards

  • A proven track record of leading/managing a successful high performing team

  • Demonstrable commercial understanding and knowledge of retail market

  • Ability to develop and deliver training sessions

  • Self-motivated
