- To ensure the company is meeting all legal, ISO standards and other accreditations requirements.
- To implement the Sustainability Strategy & other operating system initiatives throughout
- Develop the company vision for the operations team
- Work with the health and safety manager to ensure legal and ISO requirements are being met
- Strategic development of the quality & environmental elements of the Integrated Management System
- Continual improvement through consultation feedback meetings, organised training, and onsite toolbox talks.
- Increase of mental health & modern slavery on AIS's construction sites and throughout the Subcontractor base.
- Recognise strengths and weaknesses within processes and be able to overcome and problem solve
- Understand and address stakeholder needs
- Assisting with office management and admin where necessary
You will be able to use the following competencies in the role:
- Strong experience within a similar Quality Assurance role, ideally at manager level or proven ability to step up into managerial role.
- ISO Management including (9001, 14001 & 45001) would be beneficial
- Strong use of MS Suit and Office programmes including Excel, outlook, work and project
- Awareness of carbon calculation methodologies (e.g. in line with the GHG protocol)
- Reading and accurately interpreting drawings and technical specifications.
- Understanding and appropriately allocating tender documentation
- Strong communication skills being able to work with customers, suppliers, and communities
- Working towards an Associate member of IEMA
- Degree with environmental background would be beneficial but not mandatory

You will have experience within Quality Assurance, ideally working towards Associate member of IEMA and ISO Management.
