Normal hours; Monday to Friday 8 - 5


(Paid break 10.00 - 10.30, Dinner 1.00 - 2.00)


Salary £19,000 - £23,000 depending on experience


Office Angels are proud to be partnering with an established Manufacturing organisation based in Small Heath, Birmingham. We are looking for an experienced administrator with experience in purchasing as you will be raising, progressing, and receipting purchase orders with various suppliers.


Normal Duties to include:


Purchasing



  • Producing purchase orders with suppliers (internally and externally)

  • Matching up orders with delivery notes to send to Head Office for payment

  • Monthly stock check of PPE / Consumables and order accordingly to maintain stock levels

  • Chasing outstanding supplier purchase orders

  • Obtaining quotations and acting on them under the guidance of management.

  • Ensuring all purchasing processes are followed for Critical Suppliers (Cat 1's)

  • Producing various reports using our Customer Relations Management System when requested (Microsoft. E.G Purchasing Reports


Administration / Customer Service



  • Answering phone calls within 3 rings

  • Progressing customer orders, (by speaking to production to find out turnaround and adding notes on all jobs)

  • Taking customer collections and arranging with transport department

  • Liaising with drivers with details of collection and delivery requirements

  • General administration including maintaining filing systems and updating appropriate records when required

  • Providing administrative support for Transport Administration Team / Health & Safety Advisor

  • Providing administrative support for Contract review team (Initial Training and Holiday Cover for certain departments).

  • Excellent communication skills
