Purchasing & Stores Coordinator


Salary: £30,000 depending on experience


Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm


Location: Kings Norton, Birmingham

If so, we are on the search for a Purchasing and Stores Coordinator to join an established and successful family run business who are celebrating their 45th anniversary this year!


This newly created role is an excellent opportunity to support with software set up and the opening of a new stores area within the business.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Managing all goods in/out

  • Ensuring stock levels are maintained on the software

  • Issuing stock to staff as required and amending stock levels on the system

  • Purchasing where demand for stock requires it based on levels on software (min/max to be set)

  • Purchasing for all areas of the business

  • Obtaining quotes to ensure budgets are met

  • Set up software for the new stores / purchasing model


Person Specification:



  • Experience in a purchasing role.

  • Experience of goods In / Out

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written

  • Confident computer user, with experience on Excel and Word.

  • Ability to build lasting work relationships.

  • Ability to manage own workload.
