Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm with 3.30pm finish on Fridays

A rare and exciting opportunity to join the entertainment industry as a Purchasing & Technical Support Administrator based in Chessington. You will be working closely with the Purchasing Manager to ensure timely action is taken and maintain a professional service.

This is a varied role where you will be split between 2 departments: Purchasing - responsible for the ordering of materials, supplies or equipment of the company and Technical Support - providing admin support to the Technical Support department.

Sounds interesting?...Daily duties include:

  • Responsible for the intake and booking of incoming goods

  • Building strong relationships with suppliers and vendors

  • Checking all supplier acknowledgements quickly to highlight and correct any discrepancies and investigate

  • Monitoring direct competition & pricing

  • Maintain up to date records of supplier contracts

  • Research new products and suppliers

  • Negotiate contractual terms with new and current suppliers

  • Proactively monitor and progress potential stock

  • Updating stock management system with PO details and confirmed dates

  • Support purchasing with adhoc analysis and reporting

  • Answer, screen, and transfer calls for first and some second line phone support and emails.

  • Responding to customer queries, warranty claims and provision of general departmental support.

  • Logging, updating, and maintaining the CRM

  • Processing of technical orders including raising and processing orders and invoices.

To be successful in this role you'll be:

  • Ideally admin experience within a similar role

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Proficient using Word, Excel and Office

  • Able to multitask and prioritise

  • Attention to detail
