Purchase Ledger Supervisor (with great progression!)

Gravesend Area

Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm/ 9am- 5:30pm

Office based 5 x days a week

£28,000 starting salary

I am delighted to be working with a fantastic family business near to Gravesend. Established for over 20 years, this brilliant team are looking for a Purchase Ledger Supervisor to support their Accounts team in the first instance but also be open to the opportunity of taking on more responsibilities as time goes on. These could be things such as HR, Health and Safety, Payroll, reviewing benefits, Assisting the Director and acting as Manager to the Accounts Function. Overall, a really great role, with lots of variation day to day with a warm and friendly team!

Daily Responsibilities

  • Purchase Ledger functions- Average 2000 invoices monthly

  • Batching and approving invoices

  • Payment runs

  • Resolving account enquiries

  • Quarterly VAT Returns

  • Bank/ Credit/PayPal reconciliations for 3 accounts

Skills and Attributes needed

  • Outgoing Personality

  • Sage experience highly beneficial or demonstrable experience of picking up bespoke systems

  • Wants progression and to learn new skills

  • Due to the remote location of the office, a driver would be preferred
