Office Angels are collaborating with a dynamic team who are part of a global leading playing in the Business Support services. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Administrator to contribute to the success of the finance department. If you like working at a fast-pace and are looking for career progression, then this position is for you! Fully office-based in Livingston, this role is Monday-Friday 9-5:30PM with a salary of up to £25K depending on experience.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless financial transactions.

  • Ability to work independently in order to meet monthly finance deadlines.

  • Receive and process purchase invoices from vendors ensuring they are accurate and completed.

  • Manage and maintain the accuracy of the purchase ledger, ensuring compliance with financial procedures.

  • Maintain comprehensive financial records.

  • Work closely with a Ledger Manager, contributing to the success of both Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger functions.

  • Reconcile supplier statements with the purchase ledger to identify and resolve discrepancies and communicate with vendors to address any billing or payment issues.

  • Collaborate with the team to maintain accurate financial records and streamline processes.

  • Work towards and achieve daily Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets.

  • Contribute actively to the success of the team by meeting and exceeding set goals.



What you need:



  • Possess finance experience with the ability to work independently and meet monthly finance deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Xero or a similar financial system.

  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a commitment to professional development.
