Purchase Ledger Clerk

Do you have experience working within Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable?



Are you a motivated and enthusiastic individual looking for a new and challenging position?



If so, our client is looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team of 6 on a permanent basis.



This role will require you to work from their Northampton based office 40 hours per week.



Your responsibilities will include:



�Processing a high volume of Invoices


� Matching to Goods Received Notes & PO's and ensuring fully authorised


�Posting and reconciling the cash books to month end deadlines


� Credit card reconciliation, including nominal analysis, VAT extraction and the


production of the month end Journal


� Supplier statement reconciliations performed to ensure all invoices are received and


paid


�Investigate and resolve any queries


� Work as part of the Finance team



Experience


�Previous Purchase ledger/ Accounts Payable experience


�Ability to work to deadlines and manage their time effectively


�Numerically confident


�Professional manner with internal and external customers


�A flexible/adaptable approach to work
