Working for a Global business, as part of a Finance team of 10, you will be part of a really supportive and friendly department.

Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk


Location: Aylesham


Salary: £27k - £30k


Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm, 8:30am - 4:30pm or 9am - 5pm whatever is your preference, with 1 hour for lunch


Hybrid: This position is office based but your new Manager is flexible if you have any appointments or reasons to work from home as and when needed


Annual leave: 22 days annual leave


Benefits: Study support with qualifications or time off to attend college


Your key responsibilities would include:



  • Purchase invoices will be received on e-mail, print them out, register invoices on the account system

  • Register the invoice, match to receipts, process, if not the invoices have to go through the site

  • Cash payments

  • Run BACS payments

  • Report weekly cash forecasts for the week ahead

  • Look at supplier payments

  • Month end procedures

  • Downloading information on Excel using pivot tables

  • Passing information to the Finance Manager who will prepare the month end accounts


Experience and attributes required:



  • AAT Level 2 or above

  • Purchase Ledger experience

  • Career driven to build a career at this company into a Management role

  • A commitment to self development

  • High standards and a high degree of autonomy
